Motivation

It doesn't mean that if you’re not where you want to be today doesn’t mean you won’t be  there someday. Again, success is tied to long-term determination. Successful people keep  moving and trying. They make mistakes, but they do not quit. If things in your life aren’t happening as planned right now, that’s okay. It just means it’s not the right time. Life’s brick walls are not there to keep you out, they’re there to give you a chance to show how badly you want something. They’re there to stop the people who don’t want it as bad as you do.Just because you’re not where you want to be today doesn’t mean you won’t be there someday. Life

photo grabbed from the net As I was reading a book, i came across this poem. just thought of sharing this to you =) Life can seem ungrateful and not always kind Life can pull at your heartstrings and pl ay with your mind Life can be blissful and happy and free Life can put beauty in the things that you see ... Life can place challenges right at your feet Life can make good of the hardships that we meet Life can overwhelm you and make your head spin Life can reward those determined to win Life can be hurtful and not always fair Life can surround you with people who care Life clearly does offer its ups and its downs Life’s days can bring you both smiles and frowns Life teaches us to take the good with the bad Life is a mixture of happy and sad So….. Take the life that you have and give it your best Think positive, be happy let God do the rest Take the challenges that life has laid at your feet Take pride and be thankful for each one you meet To yourself give forgiveness if you s...

change

I figured i am in the mood to update my life event so im writing things that pops up my mind at this particular instance. I came across the word "change" in one of my tumblr ac counts and i would like to state my brief opinion of it. I seem to think that a lot of people live daily with melancholic situations, and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation. They somehow believe that conforming to their current circumstances will eventually lead to a life of comfort, security, and peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to their spirit than living a monotonous life. They seem to get too inclined with the routine. They fear the feeling of something different. The fear of the unknown. though routine is good but the innermost core of human spirit includes growth and exploration. This growth may come from having new experiences, new acquaintances, new environment. there is always a shift from the old to the new. A patterned lifestyle is a boring life ...

moments

Sometimes, there are moments in our life where we think it’s hard to believe in the future, and that we are temporarily just not brave enough. When this happens, concentrate on  the present. Cultivate le petit bonheur (the little happiness) until courage returns. Look forward to the beauty of the next moment, the next hour, the promise of a good meal, sleep, a book, a movie, a coffee, league of legends, NBA games, google +conversations, lechon, tuslob buwa, the likelihood that tonight the stars will shine and tomorrow the sun will shine. Sink roots into the present until the strength grows to think about tomorrow.. photo from internet

Do we have to wait to appreciate what we have when its gone?

We are in a world where people are too busy being worried about all the wrong things that they do not appreciate how great are the things they possess. The perks of being humans. Just recently, Super typhoon Yolanda had hit the Philippines. Weeks prior to that incident, an earthquake had struck the country. For a couple of days, Filipinos had experienced the traditional way of living that our ancestors had gone through. No electricity, food, warm water or safe shelter for them to dwell. This only shows that our basic necessities can be taken away from us anytime. Its also a “reality check” for us. It showed us that we are not that indestructible and that we are ought to appreciate what we have in the Philippines. Though we do not have the luxuries comparable to other countries but we do have the comforts a country has to offer. Aside from the basic necessities, we must also appreciate life itself. The air we breathe, the sun shinning bright, our loving family, our friends or eve...
